METALIUM

[LARS RATZ]

Hail Metalians,

we are back from Wacken, Matthias had a lounge infection, couldnt hardly breatha and arrive 5 minutes before the show as he was stuck on the highway (this man is ALWAYS late...)

Anyway,the show was "OK" fromour point of view, we had worse but also better in our carrier! From 100 possible point i would rate it at 75 points... it simply needs normall about 3 showmin a row to "get in the groove". We had NO other show !
Of course fans see/hear/feel differnt that us and I heard they like the show, so FAIR ENOUGH

Whatever, we had everything recorded with about 12 cams and audio as well om 40 tracks !!


Apart from this, TODAY I did aditional recording with Henning and we listened to DON AIREY's keyboards for the upcoming cd... When it came to the missle section ogf our 15-minute song Henning almoist started to cry as Don use such cool sound as we NEVER heard before
THIUS MAN is simply a genius for us... all sound he delivers NAD plays it just 110% PERFECT.,.. no note or tone TOO much or useless !!

He used again these MIGHTY analog MOOG-stuff from the early RAINBOW and OZZY days... I CAN N O T tell you HOW much Don's involvement in our music... it's just soo ... dunno how to say... !

You WILL definately hear sounds and parts you NEVER heard on any METALIUM-cd before, but dont be afraid it's H E A V Y

I'm f***ing looking forward to watching the next Metalium dvd!
I'm sure it's going to be GREAT!

Just as WE Metalian deserve...
Just kidding...

It was recorded with high technology...
So we must expect a great release...

I haven't watched the first dvd yet as I have ordered it but the f***ing credit card allowed the money only today!
I hate banks and stuff...

Michael has given us the Wacken concert set-list and you didn't play 'Revenge of Tizona'!

But, anyway, the set-list was great with 'Fight', 'Metalium', 'Steel Avenger', 'Free Forever', 'Rasputin'...

And about the keyboards...

I have already said that my favourite Metalium keyboards are the ones we can listen to on 'State of Triumph'!

I hope Don Airey has done such a good job like that!

Oh man...

The keyboards were recorded pretty fast!

Not long ago Lars told us that Don Airey was the chosen one and the guy has already done the job!

I think that to finish the 'As One' recordings it's missing only Lars' monster bass and Saeko's voice on the duet...
And then mastering and mixing...
And then get the album on January...

Only a question guys...
Previously my friends and I were sure that the upcoming Metalium album would be released THIS year...
Then I heard that it would be released on January 2004...
And now the site says it's going to be released in the end of THIS year...

Somebody has something REAL about this???
